Saturn Alice Art Site
Guest Trixie Artist: SaturnAlice
Each month Anipike will select an artist from the fan and
professional art communities to do renditions of Trixie in their own
style. This is done to extend Anipike's regards and well wishes to
the many artists who are inspired and will inspire the Anime and
Manga of the future.
This Month, The Anime Web Turnpike interviews SaturnAlice for the
work on Guest
Trixie Promotion
Anipike: What kind of personality do
you think Trixie would have?
SaturnAlice: As Trixie represents the great (^_~) site
Anipike, I think she must welcome the visitors with kindness and
warm smile. Above all, on my drawings, I try to show a Trixie very
cute with her pink hair : as cute as on the original SD animated
gif.
Anipike: What kind of anime and manga
influence or what gives you inspiration to draw?
SaturnAlice: I am mainly influenced by Shoujo manga. Since
my childhood I adore magical girls anime like Creamy mami, then I
read with much passion manga like SailorMoon, KareKano, Slayers,
etc. I think my shoujo style come from this, and so the authors who
influence me the most are Narumi Kakinouchi and Naoko Takeuchi. Even
if I love other style of anime - Evangelion and Ranma 1/2 for
instance, I prefer at all to draw cute or dark seducing girls.
Anipike: Who are your 3 favorite
artists?
SaturnAlice: My most favorite is Narumi Kakinouchi. I love
Clamp very much too, theyhave an incredible style which influence
many great artists. After thesesauthors, I like a lot many artists
who share their passions by the web, especially japanese and korean
artists. Among all these people, I want to say there is Aurore
Demilly who is a good friend too and french like me.
Anipike: How active are you as a fan
artist these days?
SaturnAlice: As I am at my last year of University of
Computer sciences, I have to prepare a lot of contests in order to
have a good job. That's why, theses days, I am only able to do
commissions and sketch for pleasure... Anyway, I always work on my
online comics project as much as possible and I submit some drawings
on funny drawing contests like the MAG. I wish that from August I
will have the time to work more seriously on my art to be published
on other papers that french fanzines.
Anipike: Are you working on any new
pages we will see soon?
SaturnAlice: Sorry no ^__^ Today I work on my art site
with an oekaki board and a forum, I have my online comics project
too to manage. So there will not be new web pages for the moment,
but many updates yes.
Anipike: Are you available to do
commissions? If so how can you be contacted?
SaturnAlice: Yes, I am. There is a form on my art site,
the direct url is here. http://saturnalice.free.fr/request/form.html.
The other way to request a drawing is to e-mail me all the
details at
saturnalice @t free.fr
: how many characters, must there be a special background, all the
body of the character or not, the size of the picture, and a
complete description of the scene. I am sorry but payment can only
be on Euros (european currency). However, feel free to e-mail me, my
prices are not expensive as I draw by passion and not to live ^_^
